The Seals

To prevent an utter cataclysm, the ancients built the Seals, seven that I am aware of though others may exist. I can sense them, like distant lighthouses: muted, faint, but present.

Each Seal has a dual purpose:

To bolster the Barrier itself; serving as anchors to the construct, mending and reweaving the frayed pattern.

To bind the lingering corruption: the Darkness, driven beyond the Barrier, not destroyed.

The Seals are massive magical constructs, created from the divine, elemental, and the blood and breath of those that built them. Titania was there. So was Merlin. And others. Atlanteans. Gods.

They are not static. They shift with change. They resist corruption. But they are not indestructible. And they are failing.

When a Seal weakens, magic bleeds into the world: wild, uncontrolled. When a Seal is breached, that magic pours out.

The Stonehenge Seal was the first to go.

If the other Seals begin to fail… the world will change in ways I cannot predict.
