This has been more than a year of writing, editing, revising, and second-guessing. But the truth is, the story has been with me for over a decade… a spark of an idea that refused to go away. I won’t lie… I’m both thrilled and scared. Thrilled, because these characters and this world have lived in my head for so long, and soon readers will get to meet them. Scared, because publishing means letting go. It means taking something deeply personal and placing it out there, where it will live and breathe beyond me.
