It started with a griffin, ripping Aiyana from my fourth-story window. The team took off in pursuit. They agreed that, when they reached the plaza, it got worse: bronze warriors, angelic wings, gargoyles, lions, kings; statues all across Berlin rose, awakened, and attacked.
The magical signature was clear as day. Nia described it as a mess of blue currents moving like threads through the air. Aiyana and Tristan both used the same descriptor: unnaturally vibrant and erratic, but theatrical. Puck. There is no other option. He did this.
According to their report, the team fought together, but were nearly overrun. The statues were fast, strong, and resistant to physical injury. Airi’s power flared into existence in full: volatile energy bursts that vaporized stone and a lot of the surrounding plaza in the process. Aiyana’s power, if I understand her report correctly, broke Puck’s influence on the statues, finally ending the threat.
